New Features

  • A set-in studded outlet configuration option has been added. This is new feature and requires a change in licensing. The configuration is picked within the studded outlet form and it can be changed from set-in to set-on even after creation. All older designs were in the context of set-on and so their configuration setting will be set-on. All new studded outlets will default to set-on. The set-in configuration is assumed to be attached to the host by a full-pen groove weld at the outer periphery and this is made clear in the user interface and in the report calculations. The 3-D of the studded outlet for set-in currently appears as though it were set-on until the 3D model is updated in a future release. DC-5364, DC-5704

Issues Resolved

  • An issue was resolved in the patching mechanism for the DcSupport.adb file that would prevent certain custom materials from being able to be edited. If this issue occurred for a user, then new custom materials were not be able to be added as well. DC-5784

  • An issue was resolved with the U-tube tubesheet where the tubesheet would be listed as incomplete and the status message would say the tube yield value must be greater than zero, even though the tube yield is not used in the U-tube tubesheet math. Note the tube yield at the tubesheet temperature is used however. DC-5588

  • An issue was resolved with the Studded Outlet report where the host corrosion allowance would not always show up in the host information section on the first page of the report. This did not affect the calculations or results. DC-5446

  • An issue was resolved with Rated Flanges where sometimes they would show as Failed in the component tree when they were actually Incomplete. DC-5633
