What Is CEI's ThinkTank Academy

The ThinkTank Academy is CEI's learning management system (LMS) designed to give our customers direct insight and knowledge on how to use CEI's most notable product offerings. These product offerings are grouped into courses based on our most applicable and popular software features. For example, ProWrite is a product series that includes 7 courses, over 50 lessons and approximately 4 hours of video content. So, while customers are learning about the software from an immersive online learning platform, they're actually becoming trained in the very tasks needed to increase their production rates and factory efficiency.

What's Featured in a Course

The courses within each product series are grouped by the software's most notable features and uses for customers. To use the same example of ProWrite, this product series offers seven courses including Welder and WPQ Creation and Expiration and PQR Creation and Procedure Management to name a few. Each course contains lessons about how to use the software to complete industry tasks like entering a new welder and pulling a welder's certification. Each lesson contains a video where our top engineers walk through how to use the software that aids in completing your welding procedure management tasks. Each lesson also includes help and reference materials we've published in our Knowledge Base.

As the user moves through each lesson by watching the videos and reading the correlating materials, the user is then prompted to take the course exam after at least 75% of all the lesson videos have been watched. If the user passes the course exam with a 90% or better, they receive a certificate for that course that includes their name and the date on which they received the certificate. The user can download the certificate as a PDF for their professional uses within their company.

For every course they complete, users receive a downloadable certificate. Users can access their certificates at any time from the Dashboard on the training website.

Who Can Access CEI's LMS

CEI's LMS is designed to help our customers become trained in the pressure equipment, welding procedure management and PVPT design software products we're known for to provide automation, efficiency and safety into their workplaces.

While virtually anyone can subscribe to our courses, our courses are designed for foremen, CWIs, QA/QC managers, welding engineers, designers, PEs and FEA engineers.

How to Subscribe

CEI provides a complete training experience in the software products that help you automate, expedite and provide an extra level of safety & compliance to your pressure equipment, welding procedure management and finite element and fitness-for-service analysis tasks.

While we recommend you subscribe to an entire product series to get the most out of the software, you can purchase a single course or a few courses at a time to help fit the needs of your company and employees. While each user must complete his or her own training, we can also accommodate multiple users for an entire company.

For each course you purchase, CEI offers base support for any additional assistance you may need as a ThinkTank Academy user. Our support team is available to assist with any questions or issues a user may have via phone and email as well as online assistance during our office hours.
