Issues Resolved

  • An issue was resolved for custom materials that resulted in incorrect density values in some cases. If you created heads, reducers or shells from custom materials affected by this issue, you will see an adjustment in your component weights. As part of the resolution, any custom materials, heads, reducers, or shells will be patched to have a density of 0.28 lb/in^3 for Customary and 7.75 g/cm^3 for Metric. This will only occur if the component or material was affected by the issue. The update to the weight calculation will not occur until you reopen the affected shells, heads and reducers. DC-6163

  • An issue was resolved in the Zick Analysis report where Spe was not being used to determine the R1C and R1C' ratio (axial compressive stress ratios in between saddles and in the plane of the saddle) in some cases. This fix will either have no effect on your current designs or will raise the ratios. This could be critical for vacuum only vessels for for vessels where vacuum governs. DC-5931

  • An issue was resolved with the patching of certain design files created prior to the 2017.0 release in relation to the application of patch 24 and some changes to the seismic calculations. DC-6061

  • An issue was resolved on the cover page report for ASCE 7-16 wind and seismic code selections. The code was not printing and instead some text already showing on the cover page was showing a second time. DC-6035

  • An issue was resolved with the Google Analytics support in DesignCalcs for certain regional language settings, including English (Belgium), that prevented the software from launching. DC-5987
