New Features

  • The cone to cylinder analysis report now has more detailed failure mode messages. DC-8040 Cone to Cylinder Failure Modes

  • The cone head and reducer angle input now accepts and calculates to four decimal places. DC-8009

  • The cover page Notes Section has been changed from five lines to a large text box similar to the Project Description Text box. This is seen under Reports - Customize Cover Page - Descriptions. DC-7990

 

Issues Resolved

  • The cone to cylinder analysis now shows “k = 1, ring cannot be considered.” in the external pressure calculations when the cylinder is not considered. This did not affect the result for k. DC-8009

  • In the external pressure calculations for the cone to cylinder analysis, the numerical substitution equation for Aes for for code years 2019 and earlier, when a cylinder is not considered, had a stray “*” in the report. This has been removed. DC-8009

  • The flat head diagram for UG-34(h) incorrectly showed “C = 0.33m”; this as been corrected to “C = 0.33”. This only appeared in the flat head user interface and did not affect any results. DC-3528

 

Misc

  • The cone to cylinder analysis input form and reports now show four decimal places for alpha and delta. DC-8009

  • The cone to cylinder analysis report now shows the value of Er in standard format for Customary units instead of scientific notation. This shows more of the precision being used in the calculation. This can be seen in the calculation of k when a ring is used and the cylinder is considered. DC-8009
