New Features

  • The changes for ASME B36.10M 2018 are now incorporated into DesignCalcs.  The include the new additions of 1/8 NPS (6 DN) Sch 160 and XXS pipe, 1/4 NPS (8 DN) Sch 160 and XXS pipe, and 3/8 NPS (10 DN) Sch 160 and XXS pipe.  There was a correction of the plain end weight (mass for 3/4 NPS (20 DN) Sch 5 pipe.  DC-915
  • The export to SolidWorks has been expanded to include both Custom and Rated Flanges.  DC-2203
  • The export to SolidWorks has been expanded to include stiffening rings.  DC-2595
  • The export to SolidWorks has been expanded to include toriconical heads. DC-2584
  • The Support Information screen has been added under the help menu to aid Enterprise customers. DC-2281


Issues Resolved

  • Two issues were resolved in the determination of ta in the nozzle neck thickness calculations.  The calculation was not considering the case where external pressure governed the nozzle neck thickness or the vessel min thickness per service type (UG-16) governed the nozzle neck thickness.  It is possible that this will cause a nozzle design to go from passing to failing though it is unlikely.  The most likely cases where this could happen would be access openings that have a repad and a long external projection.  DC-2193
  • An issue was resolved related to the inability to delete components on a vessel file that was used to export to SolidWorks.  DC-2525
  • In the pipe data for ASME B36.10M, 12 NPS (300 DN) Sch 5 pipe was missing its Schedule.  DC-915
  • In the pipe data for ASME B36.10M, 16 NPS (400 DN) 1.125" pipe had an incorrect lb/ft plain end weight.  DC-915
  • In the pipe data for ASME B36.10M, 60 NPS (1500 DN) 30.18 mm pipe had an incorrect kg/m plain end weight.  DC-915
  • In the pipe data for ASME B36.10M, 68 NPS (1700 DN) 25.4 mm pipe had an incorrect kg/m plain end weight.  DC-915
  • In the pipe data for ASME B36.10M, 68 NPS (1700 DN) 26.97 mm pipe had an incorrect kg/m plain end weight.  DC-915
