Groove Weld

Visual Inspection

Acceptable:  Select from the drop-down if the visual inspection was acceptable or not.

Other test results:  This field allows you enter in additional test results if required or desired.

Bend Tests

Guided Bend Test Results Type: Select the type of guided bend test from the drop-down list; select None if radiography testing was performed.

Result: Select the menu choice that describes the result of the bend test.  You may also type in your own entry if you choose.

Note that as with PQRs matching pairs are generally required. Once an initial bend test is inserted the matching (root, side, etc.) will automatically be created and locked.

Fillet Weld

Fillet Test Results

Appearance: Enter the results here.

Fracture test root penetration: Enter the results here.

Fillet Size: Enter the fillet leg sizes here.

Macro etch: Enter the results here.

Test Facility

Test number: Enter the test number of the test being performed.

Test date: Enter the date of the test.

Inspected by: Enter the name of the inspector of the performance test.

Title: Enter the job title of the inspector

Organization: This will display the organizations information, selection can be added to the drop down by entering in up to 3 test facilities into the Settings Tools → Settings → General.

Signature Area

Manufacturer or Contractor - This will display your company name information.

Certified By & Title - Here you can enter in the name and title of the individual who signs off on the WPQ and select an electronic signature. Once one or more signatures have been added to the document, the data cannot be changed until the signatures are removed.
