Supported Components

At the moment, only the following components will be exported from a DesignCalcs vessel file to Autodesk Inventor:

The Autodesk Inventor version 2023, build 158 was used in testing.

  • Level 1 Heads: Hemispherical Heads, Torispherical Heads, ASME F&D, Ellipsoidal, Flat and Conical Heads

  • Level 1 Reducers: Conical Reducers

  • Shells

  • Level 2 Rated Flanges of all types (except blind)

  • Level 3 Blind Rated Flanges

Each component is treated as a part with the vessel being the assembly.
