Report Troubleshooting Font Issues

Windows 10/11

 

  1. Make sure DesignCalcs is shutdown on the system.

  2. Find the executable file, DesignCalcs.exe, which is typically located under the path “C:\Program Files (x86)\CEI\DesignCalcs”.

  3. Right click on it and choose Properties.

  4. Choose the Compatibility tab and then hit the “Change high DPI settings” button.

  5. In the new screen, check the “Override high DPI scaling behavior” checkbox and select “System (Enhanced)”. Then hit ok on all menus backing out.

  6. To confirm the settings, launch DesignCalcs and then bring up the task manager.

  7. Go to the details tab

  8. Right click on the name column header and pick “Select Columns”

  9. Drag the slider down until you see the “DPI Awareness” option. Check it, if it is not already checked.

  10. Confirm the setting is “Unaware”
