A variety of lifting lugs can be evaluated in DesignCalcs. Various calculations are performed depending on the combination of lug configuration and host type. For example, when using the software, lifting lugs in heads will check the stresses in the lug and the attachment welds, but advises the user to check the local stresses in NozzlePRO.
