Release Status - December 17, 2024
During installation, if an issue occurs with the Sentinel Run-Time Environment Installer, cancel the install and visit Installing or Updating the Windows Driver for the Hasp License for steps on how to complete a sentinel hasp installation. Once this is completed, install ProWrite again.
For users with some OS versions, the following error message is displayed:
You can address this issue by going to https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/#download-section, downloading the Evergreen Bootstrapper, and running the installer.

New Features
Under Help on the main toolbar, users can now see if they are using the latest version of the software by clicking Check For Updates. (PWN-9255)
Issues Resolved
When printing from ProWrite, the tube-to-tubesheet PQRs and WPSs now correctly display the P-number value for the tubesheet material. (PWN-9277, PWN-9344)
The correct Brazing P-numbers values are now displayed when viewing base metals in accordance with the AWS B2.2 since the latest 2023 edition of ASME Section IX points to those values. (PWN-9011)
The minimum pipe diameter values now correctly display in the WPQ. (PWN-9363)
When working with a Fillet Weld WPQ, the process and method now displays the option you selected for the WPS or PQR or can be updated manually after changing the weld type. Previously, Process 1 was changed and locked to GMAW and Semi-automatic incorrectly. (PWN-9180)
How to Update ProWrite:
Enterprise Users:
Apply the database schema updates in order:

Note:
If you are updating ProWrite versions older than 2024.10, refer to the ProWrite 2023.10.0.5814 Release Notes for the SQL scripts to update the enterprise database.
Notify all users, close all connections, and backup your database.
Update the application.
LocalDB Users:
Once you update the application, the software automatically updates the database when you open it.
Cloud Users:
The update has automatically been applied. No action is necessary.
