If an issue occurs during the install, when trying to lay down the Sentinel Run-Time Environment Installer, please cancel the install and follow the Sentinel Hasp Installation steps in the article below. Once this has completed, run the ProWrite install again:

New Features

  • Added the ability to modify the mentioning of Thermal Processes per QW-410.64 (PWN-5410)

  • Improved the scaling/size functionality amongst several windows (PWN-6020)

  • Performance improvements for large datasets (PWN-6937)

  • Expanded Welder/WPS Analysis to include Corrosion Resistant Overlay and Hardface Overlay (PWN-6981)

  • Expanded the Associations button on PQR, WPS, WPQ, and Welders to allow association to Groups (PWN-6938)

  • Improvement for adding images to the database and documents (PWN-3146)

 

Issues Resolved

  • Added limitations to image size uploaded into ProWrite to prevent database slowness (PWN-3146)

  • Resolved issue with WPS Thickness consolidation and selecting additional supporting PQRs (PWN-6761)

  • Improved the pop-up message on WPQs to clarify what fields need to be addressed (PWN-7056)

  • Resolved issue with Logos printing on documents (PWN-7152)

  • Resolved issue with Procedure Submittals and printing of notes and signature lines (PWN-6936)

  • Resolved issue with Procedure Submittals Summary page and WPS Quick Reference reports order of WPSs (PWN-7032)

  • Resolved issue with filler metals with SFA Number of 5.20 where 0 was dropped off (PWN-7215)

  • Resolved issue with Associations not being retained when copying documents (PWN-7235)

Steps to update:

For Enterprise:

  • Apply the database schema updates in order:

    • 123 upgrade from 122

    • 124 upgrade from 123

  • Notify all users, close all connections, and backup your database

  • Update the application

  • LocalDB users:

    •      Update the application and the software will update the database for you when you open it

    Cloud Users:

    •      No action necessary, it has been updated by CEI
