If an issue occurs during the install, when trying to lay down the Sentinel Run-Time Environment Installer, please cancel the install and follow the Sentinel Hasp Installation steps in the article below. Once this has completed, run the ProWrite install again:

New Features

  • PQR, WPS, and WPQ individual document settings have been added to allow Users to modify the language they would like to be printed per each individual document. The User will still have the default language available to them but can select to change the wording as they see fit. (PWN-5438, PWN-6127)

  • Users can now selectively pull/return certifications of specific welding processes from a welder that will remove the process from consideration of the welder’s available welding processes and expiration calculations. (PWN-6099)

  • Group security settings have been added to the software. These settings allow users to group documents and welders to specific groups that have security access applied to them. Allowing someone to view a document/welder but not allow them to edit. This allows corporations with multiple divisions to work from a single database and still keep documents separated per those divisions. (PWN-6003)

  • Added the ability to select ProWrite base metal and filler metals within the API 1104 and Section 9 Welding RAD Welding forms (CRTN-4251)

 

2021 Section IX Code Changes

  • Added drop downs to all documents for access to the 2021 Code year (S9) (PWN-6523)

  • Added, revised, and updated 2021 base materials to the base metal database. (S9) (PWN-6304)

  • Added, revised, and updated 2021 filler materials to the filler metal database. (S9) (PWN-6304)

  • Removed the max base metal thickness essential variable for GMAW short-circuit WPS (PWN-6374)

  • Removed the max weld metal thickness essential variable for GMAW short-circuit WPS (PWN-6382)

  • Removed the melt-in technique variable for PAW WPS Technique (PWN-6398)

  • Removed the limitations on Volumetric testing for GTAW WPQs for P-No. 61 and P-No. 62 (PWN-6406)

  • Removed filler metal electrode diameter size limitations for impact tested SMAW WPSs (PWN-6390)

 

Issues Resolved

  • An issue with the Open view of WPQs where the welder’s first name and last name were not be displayed was resolved. (PWN-6287)

  • An issue with the Procedure Submittal displaying blurry text and additional signatures has been resolved. (PWN-6228)

  • An issue with writing continuity from AWS D9.1 RAD form was resolved. (PWN-6494)

  • An issue with editing and removing associations with Groups was resolved. (PWN-6572)

  • An issue with unique identifier being displayed instead of the Esignature ID (PWN-5431)

 

Steps to update:

For Enterprise:

  • Apply the database schema updates in order:

    • 118 upgrade from 117

    • 119 upgrade from 118

    • 120 upgrade from 119

    • 121 upgrade from 120

    • 122 upgrade from 121

 

LocalDB users:

  •      Update the application and the software will update the database for you when you open it

Cloud Users:

  •      No action necessary, it has been updated by CEI
