Restarting the "Sentinel LDK License Manager" Windows Service after an Windows Update.

There are some instances where after Windows Updates get applied to the machine, the Sentinel LDK License Manager service gets stopped and is not able to automatically restart itself or after an system Reboot. With this service stopped, CEI Programs will not be able to find and make use of the Red Hasp License key.

To restart the Windows Service manually, begin by searching for the “Services” app in your Windows task bar's Search field. Once the Services app is located, left click on the Services app to launch the Services Window.

Next, you will need to scroll down the list of Windows Services and look for the service called “Sentinel LDK License Manager“. Once this service is located, check to see if the Status column shows a status of Running for this service. If not, right click on this Sentinel LDK License Manager server and choose the Start option from the list. Once your service shows a Status of Running, the Hasp License key should be accessible to CEI Programs once again.
