AWS D1.4 (Structural Reinforcing Steel)

AWS D1.4’s implementation into ProWrite allows users the ability to enter, store, and access their Structural Welding documents for Reinforcing Bars as well as their welders from within ProWrite Welding Software.

AWS D1.4 is the structural welding code for Reinforcing Bars developed by The American Welding Society for construction.

This code shall apply to the welding of the following:

1. Steel reinforcing bar to steel reinforcing bar, and
2. Steel reinforcing bar to carbon or low-alloy structural steel.

When this coded is stipulated in contract documents, conformance with all provisions shall be required, except for those provisions that the Engineer or contract documents specifically modifies or exempts.
