Import/Export

This section does not apply to ProWrite Cloud.

ProWrite has the ability to transfer entities (PQRs, WPSs, WPQs, and Welders) from one database to another via Import/Export. Each export file can hold multiple entities. Both the Import and the Export are options available via the Tools menu.

Individual entities can also be exported by opening that entity and selecting the Export option.

Note: Import/Export if not for transferring data to "non-ProWrite users". This is best accomplished by saving to PDF.

Note: The "Exporting" and "Importing" versions must be the same for a successful transfer.
