Converting SEF Files

Files created prior to 2020 software release need to be converted to the new format. Firstly load any Item using the File->Load/Create Item menu, then select Data Sheet/Manual calcs from the Engineering Modules menu, then from the File menu in the EFP screen select Convert SEF files, the dialog shown below will then be displayed.

To find existing SEF File(s) navigate using either view. The files will be at the top level in the existing DTA folder. If the DTA folder contains any SEF file(s) the Convert SEF files button at the bottom of the screen will become live.

NOTE: This will only have to be done once, and only the linked file template will be copied over not the data included in them, this will have to be entered again.
