Finglow 2D - Copying Calculations Between Items

If there is a particular calculation that is required to be copied from one Item to another use the following:-

• Open the Item that has the source calculation using the Load/Create Item icon. In this case Demo2.

  Open

  

• Load the Engineering module which contains the specific calculation.

  Open

  

• Select the Read Input icon from the toolbar, and read the source calculation.

• Change to the target Item by selecting Load/Create Item, in this case Demo3.

• Then to finish off the procedure select Save from the toolbar and either enter a new description or overwrite an existing file.

Then click the save button.

NOTE: To copy the entire Item of calculations simply use File Explorer and copy the ItemName.F2D file.
