Program Settings - PQR/WPS
PQR
Print "Witnessed by" statement: Select this box to add the "Witnessed by" statement to the report.
"Witnessed by" label: This defaults to "Witnessed by:" but it can be changed to display any text.
WPS (S9 Only)
Print Certification: The ASME recommended form, QW-482, does not require a certification and signature area on the WPS. However, many quality control programs require the WPS to be certified and signed. Clear this box to remove the certification and signature area of the WPS.
Weld joint description disclaimer: This text appears on the last page of the Welding Procedure Specification below the "Joint" section. The purpose is to explain that the joint descriptions or drawings on an Engineering Specification or Design Drawing will take precedence over the weld design(s) shown on the WPS. The text entered here will appear on each WPS.
Give user responsibility for heat input requirements: By default, the program will control the voltage, amperage, and travel speed fields so the maximum heat input can never be exceeded. Experienced welders may wish to select this box to enable user control of this data. Be aware that this will allow users to input voltage, amperage, and travel speed ranges that may exceed heat input limits.
Always Present Single/Multiple Electrodes option: By default, the program will only display Single/Multiple electrodes option when the Process/Method combination involves Automatic or Machine methods. This setting will display the field in the UI and will print the input on the WPS when this option is selected.
