Bolt Search
Bolts may be manually entered in DesignCalcs, however using the Bolt Search keeps the data consistent and correct. Custom bolts may be added to the Bolt Database and then used within vessels and components.
| When on the bolting or load/bolt calcs tab, click the Bolt Search button to load the bolt selection dialog. Commonly available bolts are listed on the "Standard" tab. User-created custom bolts are also available on the "Custom" tab of the bolt selection grid. |
Bolt Selection Grid
To quickly find a specific bolt - or a bolt with certain properties - group, sort, and filter the grid data. Data can be grouped by any characteristic by dragging the column header into the area above the columns. Click on a column header to sort the data by that column in either ascending or descending order. Click the arrow on the right side of a column header to select data filtering criteria. Grouping, sorting, and filtering can be used in any combination.
The grid will retain any filters and the adjustments to column order and size. To reset the grid to the original default appearance, right click and select "Reset Default Layout."
