How to Apply the "FormPro 2016 - 2015 Code Edition - Dropdown.sql" SQL Server Script file to your FormPro Database.

Purpose is to add the 2015 Code Edition text to the FormPro Code Edition dropdown fields. 

Step-by-step guide

 

  1. Copy the “FormPro 2016 - 2015 Code Edition - Dropdown.sql”  file to the desktop of the machine where the SQL Server is installed that is hosting the FormPro CEISuite Database. 

  2. Double click the “FormPro 2016 - 2015 Code Edition - Dropdown.sql” file or manually launch Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express. 

  3. You will be prompted with a connect to server screen much like the below image. Note that the SQL Server Name and Authentication type may already be correct. If not, select or enter the correct server name and authentication method. Click connect. 

          

      4. You should then see a screen much like the below, if not, minimize the Management studio and double click the “FormPro 2016 - 2015 Code Edition - Dropdown.sql” and click connect again. 

          

 

      5. You will then notice the Execute button above the colored text area  

          Depending on your version of MS SQL Server, you may need to click on the text area in order for the Execute button to become enabled.

      6. Click the Execute button and notice towards the bottom of the text area if there is a successfully executed message like below. If so, the 2015 text should now be in the Code Edition Dropdown fields on the

          FormPro Forms.
