Welder Continuity
Welder Continuity is a special type of Weld Record that have been associated with a welder and established as complete for use in calculating expiration.
*Though they can be edited with the proper security permission they are generally assumed to be immutable once created.
If you are needing to manage an individual welder's continuity entries, you can click the 'Welders' button in the main ProWrite toolbar, choose 'Open' and select the individual welder. Once the welder's profile is displayed, there is a 'Continuity' tab in the middle of that window. Click on the tab, 'Continuity', and you will see a table of past entries.
To edit a past entry, find the row in question and click on it to select, then click the 'Edit' button above the grid area. This will open a new window where you can edit information stored for that continuity entry. *(note that continuity is generally assumed to be immutable as stated above).
To delete a past entry, find the row in question and click on it to select, then click the 'Delete' button above the grid area.
To add a new entry, click the 'Add Row' button and a new window will open with the standard 'Continuity' window. At this point you can record the new entry.
Exception:
A Welder's Continuity entry can be marked as "Exclude" which prevents that entry from being included in the Welder's Expiration calculation.
