During installation, if an issue occurs with the Sentinel Run-Time Environment Installer, cancel the install and go to Installing or Updating the Windows Driver for the Hasp License for steps on how to complete a sentinel hasp installation. Once this is completed, install ProWrite again.

For users with some OS versions, the following error message is displayed:

You can address this issue by going to https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/#download-section, downloading the Evergreen Bootstrapper, and running the installer.

New Features

  • With the removal of the CEI Portal, customers have requested a means to check for updates of the software. To fulfill this request we have added a new dropdown option under the Help button on the main toolbar to allow users to check if there is a newer version of ProWrite available. (PWN-9255)

Issues Resolved

  • The printed form of tube-to-tubesheet PQRs and WPSs were missing the P-number of the tubesheet material. They were shown in the UI but not presented on the document. That issue has been resolved. (PWN-9277, PWN-9344)

  • There were some Brazing P-numbers that were incorrect due to the change of Brazing P-numbers in the 2023 edition of the Section IX. Those incorrect values have been corrected. (PWN-9011)

  • There was an issue with WPQs and the pipe diameter qualified not giving the correct minimum pipe diameter based upon the pipe diameter tested upon. This has been corrected and will display the correct minimum pipe diameter. (PWN-9363)

  • There was an issue with Fillet Weld only WPQs not correctly displaying the Process and method selected for the WPQ when the Fillet Weld only option was selected. This has been corrected. (PWN-9180)

How to Update ProWrite:

Enterprise users:

  • Apply the database schema updates in order:

    • 139 upgrade from 138

Note:
If you are updating ProWrite versions older than 2024.10, refer to the ProWrite 2023.10.0.5814 Release Notes for the SQL scripts to update the enterprise database.

  • Notify all users, close all connections, and backup your database.

  • Update the application.

LocalDB users:

Once you update the application, the software automatically updates the database when you open it.

Cloud Users:

The update has automatically been applied. No action is necessary.
