ProWrite’s Improved Bulk Continuity
ProWrite’s New Improved Bulk Continuity is a Full Robust Feature. The Improved Bulk Continuity allows the input of continuity entries for multiple welders at once. It can also store multiple pending continuity entries in a non-committed state that will not count in calculating a welder's expiration.
To create a new Bulk Continuity entry, select Welders → New Bulk Continuity.
To access an existing Bulk Continuity entry, select Welders → Edit Bulk Continuity.
To start a new continuity entry from the Bulk Continuity tool you can select 1-n rows of welders/expirations
and then at the bottom of the screen enter Weld Date, Job, etc. and select Set Rows.
Once you've done this those welders/expiraitons will change from Green Circles to Yellow Checks.
Once you are ready to commit these changes to the welder(s) continuity history select Update*
And the Yellow Checks will change to Green Checks.
Notes that the expiration Date will not change for these records as this reflects the expiration prior to the new continuity entry being created.
Any new Bulk Continuity Entrys or expiration reports will calculate the expiration given the present continuity context.
*Note: once committed any changes are manual and each continuity entry that needs adjustment must be interacted with separately.Quality Control Professional, CWI’s, Welding Engineers, Foremans and Welding Managers the ease of updating welder’s continuity in Bulk, updating multiple welders in an instant.
Reports may be exported to Excel, CSV, and Pdf format allowing documentation to be shared. Reports of welders with upcoming expirations may be exported to Excel, emailed to production floor, or test shops to await an updated excel sheet with dates, dates can then be placed into PW updating all your welder’s continuity in just a few clicks.
With more Robust Filtering and Sorting Features, user’s may now filter and sort on various attributes of the Welder as well as attributes of the Welder’s Process. Users may filter and sort on Welder ID, Stamp Number, Welder’s First Name, Last Name, Location, Foreman, as well as Process and Method.
Single Welders and Multiple Welders may be updated using this new feature. Allowing an update to each welder’s Weld Date, Who certified the continuity entry, the Job, Inspection Type, Length Inspected and Length of Defect, All at once. With these features ProWrite will save you time and money.
