Supported Geometries

• Q: Can it handle rectangular or square attachments and nozzles?

  • A: Only nozzles at the moment, but new development may include additional attachments given demand.

• Q: Can I make tangential nozzles with this program?

  • A: PVPTPro does not support a true tangential, but it does support hillside nozzles that can approach a true tangential. FEPipe, however, supports true tangential functionality.

Integrations with Other Software

• Q: Can I export a SolidWorks model from PVPTPro?

  • A: Not at the moment, but new development may include this integration given demand.

How PVPTPro Works with Other PRG Products

• Q: How is PVPTPro different from NozzlePRO?

  • A: PVPTPro allows users to analyze the combined effect of loads on four nozzles at a time, whereas NozzlePRO only supports one nozzle at a time.

• Q: What about FEPipe?

  • A: As of today, FEPipe is still the most flexible program within Paulin Research Group’s design and analysis software suite. PVPTPro combines some of that flexibility and allows users to quickly model up to four nozzles at a time in various host types. While FEPipe is the most extensive program, it can include some overhead that may not be needed per each user situation. So, PVPTPro includes some of those flexible features from FEPipe while also including the ease of quick modeling of NozzlePRO.
