AWS C3.2’s implementation into ProWrite allows users the ability to enter, store, and access their Evaluation of the Strength of Brazed Joints documents as well as their welders from within ProWrite Welding Software.
AWS C3.2 is a code developed to evaluate the standard methods of evaluating brazed joints, composed by The American Welding Society.
The purpose of C3.2 is to describe the test methods used to obtain reliable data on the strength of metallic to metallic, metallic to non-metallic, and non-metallic to non-metallic brazed joints. Overall testing methods are described to provided proper and consistent brazed joints.
AWS C3.3’s implementation into ProWrite allows users the ability to enter, store, and access their recommended practices for design, manufacture, and examination of critical brazed component documents as well as their welders from within ProWrite Welding Software.
AWS C3.3 is a code developed to overview general practice of start to finish brazed components, composed by The American Welding Society.
C3.3 lists the necessary steps to determine the suitability of brazed components for critical applications, in consideration with respect to materials, design, manufacture and inspection. The code recommends the best current practice and are necessary to the control of brazed joint quality.
