Heads and reducers are designed per Section VIII, Division 1 paragraphs UG-27, UG-28, UG-32, UG-33, UG-34, Appendices 1-1 and 1-4.  UG-32 is a subset of the mathematics contained in Appendix 1-4 and therefore Appendix 1-4 is used more often.
