Finglow Pressure Vessel Software for ASME VIII Div.2

All modules incorporate the requirements of the 2021 edition of ASME VIII Division 2. In addition to minor enhancements the following modifications have been made:

  • Shells - Internal Pressure : Version 21.00.02

  • Shells - External Pressure : Version 21.00.02

  • Nozzles & Openings : Version 21.00.02

For hillside nozzles only the radius Rnc as per 4.5.11.1 was being calculated incorrectly, this has been fixed.

  • Saddle & Ring Supports : Version 21.00.02

  • Local Loads on Cylinders : Version 21.00.02

The option to use WRC 537 curve fit data has been added, which includes the selection of either Original or Extrapolated curves and values from the (MAX) curves in Figure 1B-1 or 2B-1 can be selected, also Nozzles can now be checked using the values from either WRC 107/537.

  • Local Loads on Formed Heads : Version 21.00.02

The option to use WRC 537 curve fit data has been added, which includes use of values from the (MAX) curves in Figures SR-2 to SM-10.
