Features

  • The following general features are now available:

    • PRG is now integrated with CEI.

    • The ASME degree of conservatism is now available from any PRG program.

    • PRG Help Documentation is now available.

  • The following features are now available with NozzlePRO:

    • NozzlePRO Vessel Link is now available.

    • NozzlePRO can now be integrated with DesignCalcs and Finglow.

    • All PRG documentation is now available from a single source and includes search functionality.

  • The following ASME Section VIII, Div 2 Part 5 Compliance updates are now available.

    • Option 55 and Compressive Elastic Stress reports are now available to help evaluate stress states.

    • The Drawing Tools feature is now available, which help evaluate stress states, shell verifications and structural stress calculations (see below for more information on the Drawing Tools feature).

    • The ASME Data panel is now available.

    • The New Criticality Evaluator is now available.

    • The following features have been added to help with model verification:

      • Compressive Stress Report

      • Stability Processor Report

      • Elevation to Lower Bound Limit Load or Elastic-Plastic Model Review

      • Elastic/Plastic Analysis

      • Elastic-Eigenvalue Buckling

      • Elastic-Plastic Buckling with Perturbation

      • A variety of model perturbation features in the Drawing Tools.

    • Ke – Strain Concentration Factor is now available.

  • The Allowable Nozzle Loads feature is now available.

  • The following features regarding buckling guidelines for nozzles, branches, and pipe shoes are now available:

    • The ability to compute hoop direction on compressive loads in head knuckles is now available.

    • The ability to load pipe shoes and saddles is now available.

    • The ability to plot minimum principle membrane stress (113 or 115) is now available.

    • The ability to change load magnitudes is now available.

    • The ability to perturb the buckling model is now available.

    • Buckling analysis for shell geometries is now available.

  • The PCL Gold Sustained Stress Indexes (SSIs) updates are now available.

  • The Cumulative Damage – TES Calculations feature is now available.

  • The Fillet Overreach Model Construction Guidelines feature is now available to help with modeling welds.

  • The Reinforcing Pad feature is now available.

  • The Drawing Tools feature is now available.

  • Stability Processor Note updates are now available.    

  • The following features regarding phased harmonic loads are now available:

    • Option #52 is now available to help add density to the model.

    • Option #53 is now available to help modify the solutions options (.SOP) file.

    • Option #53 is now available to help integrate the .SOP file.

    • Variation of Damping Ratio functionality is now available.

    • Acoustic Induced Vibration (AIV) guidelines are now available.

  • The Nonlinear Elastic Plastic Solver is now available.
