Release Status - July 27, 2022

During installation, if an issue occurs with theĀ Sentinel Run-Time Environment Installer, cancel the install and go to Installing or Updating the Windows Driver for the Hasp License for steps on how to complete a sentinel hasp installation. Once this is completed, install ProWrite again.

New Features

  • Added the ability for users to set a default company option for each user (PWN-7256)

  • Added the Welder Information Sheet (WIS) (PWN-6054)

Issues Resolved

  • Resolved the issue with the heat input responsibility setting not matching when you create a new document (PWN-1781)

  • Resolved the issue with P-No. being set to zero when creating a non-code assisted WPS (PWN-2158)

  • Resolved the issue with P-No. being set to S-No. when creating a non-code assisted WPS (PWN-2420)

  • Resolved the issue with D1.1 Generic WPS with the weld details and the second process being used. This prevented users from selecting the second process. (PWN-5869)

  • Resolved the issue with the WPQ window sizing and scrolling when you enter data (PWN-7275)

  • Resolved the issue with Procedure Submittal formatting of values and additional spacing. This had an effect on the WPSs shown and the company data. (PWN-7011)

  • Resolved the issue with PAW PQRs not showing the Product Form field when performing corrosion resistant overlay or hardface overlay (PWN-6181)

  • Resolved the issue with filtering, removing the first process or method combination on a continuity custom report (PWN-7518)

  • Resolved the issue with Preliminary WPS and different system resolutions . This caused field values on the Process tab to be hidden by the UI screen. (PWN-7601)

2021 Section IX Code Changes

  • Added lower base metal thickness for impact tested materials that are P-No. 8, 21-26, or 41-49 (PWN-7349)

  • Added additional EN base metals (PWN-7318)

How to Update ProWrite:

Enterprise users:

  • Apply the database schema updates in order:

    • 125 upgrade from 124

    • 126 upgrade from 125

    • 127 upgrade from 126

    • 128 upgrade from 127

LocalDB users:

Once you update the application, the software automatically updates the database when you open it.

Cloud Users:

The update has automatically been applied. No action is necessary.
