- DesignCalcs now supports a basic ASME Section VIII, Division 2 nozzle design. Currently this supports a radial, abutting groove configuration that is straight barrel with no repad in a cylindrical host. The calculations covered include the Pressure Area method, Weld Strength, Weld detail, Service Thickness checks, and Nozzle rupture checks for pressure loads. DC-1666
